Brandon and I have been on our plan for one full week. We both had our 2 drinks last night and I could tell we were a little leaner in our Bikram yoga class today. It’s hard not to analyze your body when you are staring at yourself for 90 minutes in the mirror with only a sports bra on!
My new favorite things: Perfect Foods Bars and Carnivore protein. The Perfect Foods bars are made with very high quality ingredients. Everything is organic and absolutely no artificial sweeteners. Ingredients are peanut butter, rice protein, whole egg powder, nonfat milk powder, organic dried fruits and vegetables like papaya, carrot, and apple. There are 14-17 grams protein, 17-19grams fat, and 24-25 grams carbs in each bar. It’s perfect for a post workout meal or afternoon snack. Carnivore protein is a beef protein that I ordered in for the gym for members who cannot handle milk protein. It is pretty tasty I must say and also has 2.5 grams of creatine per serving which aids in workout performance. It’s nice to have a little switch up in protein and something sweet always catches my attention!
We decided to mix up our normal breakfast today with some pancakes. Our daily grind of oats and eggs were getting a bit old. Brandon’s are made with 1 banana, 1/4 cup steel cut oats, 2 whole eggs, 2 egg whites, 1 serving 3 fuel protein, and 1/2 TB coconut oil. Mine our made with cream of rice, 4 egg whites, 1 whole egg, and 1 scoop SFH protein. Pictures and nutrition information is listed below.
